It was founded in June 2012 and is based in Elassona, in the province of which it operates.

What characterizes the "Milk Elas" Cooperative in the field of its operations is teamwork and collectivity. The collection and sale of milk is done collectively, as is the supply of feed for the members of the Cooperative, thus achieving better prices along with settlement of payments. Now, the producer has the feed ready to be delivered to his stall without having to worry about searching for it. Also, the Cooperative has entered the meat market which is an important income for their member producers. In particular, after the name "P.O.P. lamb - goat of Elassona" there is potential which we intend to exploit.

Finally, the aim and purpose of the Cooperative is to provide quality milk and its smooth management, as they operate with strict criteria for the members in terms of fat and microbial load in the milk.
