EVOL

The Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Volos was founded in 1926 and is the secondary cooperative body of the Cooperatives of the villages around Volos, as well as the villages of West Pelion and the area of Velestinos. In 1952, the dairy industry EVOL was founded by the Union with the aim of collecting, processing and marketing cow's milk on the local market.

The purpose of the foundation was and continues to be the ability of the Cooperative Organization to exercise an interventionist policy in the price of cow, goat and sheep milk, and to secure the income of the farmers of our region. Thus, today our farmers have been able to enjoy the highest prices for milk in the country.

The modernization programs implemented in the Dairy Industry in recent years, the processing methods followed in combination with the care, knowledge and passion of the human resources, have resulted in the production of high quality products of high standards.

The combination of tradition with the modern rules and procedures applicable in the food industry (HACCP, ISO 22000) is achieved.
