With the participation of leading entrepreneurs, producers, and Agricultural Cooperatives from the food and beverage sector, FOOD EXPO 2025 opened its doors on Saturday, March 8, and concludes today, Monday, March 10, reaffirming its status as the largest exhibition of its kind in Southeastern Europe.
For the first time, the export company "Cooperative Greek Exports S.A. - COGREXPO S.A." participated dynamically with its own stand, strengthening its position in promoting Greek agricultural products in international markets. On Saturday morning, the leadership of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food visited the COGREXPO stand within the exhibition framework. They had the opportunity to be informed and discuss with the company's executives about the innovative initiative of the Agricultural Cooperatives, as well as the progress and steps taken so far. The Minister of Rural Development and Food, Mr. Kostas Tsiaras, and the General Secretary of Rural Development and Food, Mr. Giorgos Stratakos,held discussions with the company's President, Mr. Christos Giannakakis, Vice President, Mr. Andreas Dimitriou, General Manager, Mr. Panagiotis Katsikaris, Purchasing Manager, Mr. Konstantinos Gougoulias, Operations Manager, Ms. Maria Dimitrainaand the company’s external partner, Mr. Thanasis Manavis,regarding COGREXPO’s next strategic steps and its commercial goals in the global market.
The COGREXPO' s stand attracted the interest of representatives from Piraeus Bank, members of the company's Board of Directors, representatives of Agricultural Cooperatives - members of ETHEAS, as well as producers. Additionally, within the framework of the exhibition significant and targeted B2B meetings took place between potential clients and COGREXPO, aiming to expand the export potential of Greek agricultural products and strengthen their international presence.
COGREXPO's next commercial presence is expected in April 2025 (April 10-12) atFreskon,in Thessaloniki,the leading annual event in the fresh produce sector in Southeastern Europe.
